Staff and location are very good, and the hotel is kept fairly clean. The rooms are huge with wonderful views and the overall experience is great. Thanks, I will be back, liked this venue.

We got a neat room in the bathroom for several minutes.

This resort is on the ocean. The location and view is amazing. Most of the ocean front hotel rooms are ocean view, with the exception of dune views, where you can't see the ocean at all. (There are a couple 'dune view' rooms that have partial view of ocean though) The decking is really nice and there are lounge chairs provided. The hotel is clean. Nothing fancy. I heard they are going to renovate, but am afraid they will make it too nice and have to raise the price. They have an indoor pool, glass enclosed, very clean, with some tables to sit and eat lunch. Walk 2-3 minutes to eat breakfast or lunch in town. Go visit the lighthouse (pay to actually go in and climb stairs, but no cost if you take the trail down to the water, and walk along the shore. Amazing.) Nice place to eat inexpensive lunch at outside picnic tables. Also visit Gossman's Dock, just north a few miles. Nice to walk around and shop and eat lunch.

The location is fantastic! The hotel is few steps from the sea, with beautiful views. At the same time, it's just two blocks from Montauk's downtown.
I cannot find anything we didn't like. Just to mention, sometimes it was not easy to find room in the parking for the car.

Location was awesome. We were there off season and it was well maintained. Staff was busy preparing for summer season. Nice place to stay for a relaxing few days!
It is a bit dated decor wise.

I stepped out onto our balcony and watched the waves. We saw a pod of humpbacks in the ocean. The room was clean and had two fridges, a coffee machine, and a microwave. The beach access was easy with complementary chairs and umbrellas . I enjoyed walking to town for breakfast. The staff were responsive. I wish I could see more whale sightings .
Parking was difficult due to lack of enforcement on parking rules. The rooms felt dated in terms of updates.

Yikes,no back up locks on the doors,a chain lock or some sort of safety lock is very important when the keyed lock is the only point of entry. I am retired law enforcement and the security situation really gave me the creeps. Every other part of our stay was perfect!

Charming Oceanfront Escape!
The highlight was the amazing sunrise from our balcony. The beachfront location made morning walks refreshing. Dining at the onsite restaurant was a delight. Don't miss the fresh seafood! A minor tip, bring extra towels, as they can be limited.

The views from the ocean view room and the proximity to the beach is what its all about.
The furnishings and decor are very tired for rooms at this price. I would not return unless I knew there had been a refurbishment OR the prices had dropped. I did not get the feeling either of these things were likely to happen soon.

It was clean, quiet and right on the ocean! Beautiful sightseeing! Loved it and may return in April/May!

Relaxing by the outdoor swimming pool and enjoying the beach access. The only downside was the jacuzzi being out of order, but it didn't take away from the overall great experience 🎉

The location and the pool and whirlpool facility. Staff was accomodating in changing my room when I complained that the original room was not to my expectation from the online description.
You cannot request to book a particular room nor building The online information is misleading; I booked an oceanview room which I thought would be facing the ocean but did not. For a frontal view of the ocean you must book an Oceanfront room, which was not described online.

It was within walking distance to all stores & restaurants. It was located right on the beach. The bed was very comfortable & more than enough pillows supplied.
There was no counter space near sink & stove, otherwise ok.
